Pedestrian safety
There's a lot of debate on the forum about dangerous drivers and muggings, but the heart of the matter is that we want everyone in Herne Hill to be able to walk safely in the area - during the day or at night. Perhaps more adult supervision at crossings/junctions during school runs would help? Escorts for the elderly at all times of day? More police or volunteer presence on key streets to protect people walking home from train stations at night? Education programmes for children walking to school? Better pavements that increase safety? So many things that could be done… more

SOCO increase
SOCO increase. - After recent burglary I have been alerted to the fact that there is only one that covers this area! How can there be any hope of stopping this area of crime without this input? Statistics prove that the perpetrators are repeat offenders!
